Family
For me, a family session is about your atmosphere: the love, the laughter, and the little moments that life is actually made of. I don't shoot from a template or try to pose the perfect portrait, because every family feels different. What matters to me is getting to know you, so you can relax and just be together. That's why I start the conversation before we meet and keep it going after. The perfect ending is the feeling that we've become a little closer.
Maternity
I used to see pregnancy as a natural, purely physical process. But going through it myself, I realized how deep, complex, and beautiful it really is. A woman carrying a child goes through enormous changes — inside and out. It's a time of strength, vulnerability, and a very special kind of beauty. You want to preserve this period the way it actually feels from within. The anticipation, the changes, the new sensitivity to yourself and the world around you. What stays in the frame isn't just an image — it's the state a woman is in, her strength and vulnerability all at once. Over time, these photos become a reminder of the journey you've been through, and a moment in life you'll want to come back to again and again.
Newborn
A baby coming into the world is the most sacred moment for any family. That's why I believe it's so important to capture every stage of your little one growing up — from birth all the way until they leave the nest. Children grow incredibly fast, especially in that first year, so preserving these moments on camera really matters. In my ideal world, I'd love to be your baby's photographer from day one. Then shoot at 15 days, three months, six months, and twelve months. And after that — put together a "Baby's First Year" book.
Portrait
A portrait session is a way to see yourself in a new light. To pause, breathe out, and just let yourself be you. My job isn't simply to take beautiful shots — it's to show the real you. No tension, no roles to play, just your mood and your moment. We can create a calm, gentle portrait or go the other way — something bold and striking. The kind where you feel confident, beautiful, and alive. This shoot is for you — to capture a moment, a state of mind, and the feeling of being right here, right now.
Couple
Every session has its own time and place, and every couple pictures it differently. In a couple's shoot, what matters is preserving not just a beautiful location, but a memory of you. I once had clients who met at Green Lake. That's where their first date was, and after their wedding they made it a tradition to walk around the lake every year on their anniversary. That place became the backdrop of their story. I'll help preserve your personal story and the feelings you share together. Sometimes the place sets the mood for the shoot, and sometimes it's the couple who creates the atmosphere and the location just comes naturally. If you connect with authentic, heartfelt photography that has meaning, I'd be happy to help preserve that for you.
Events
They say what's captured on film is captured forever. That's why I think it's important to not just hold onto memories in your mind, but to actually have photos from your events. If you want to relax and not be in charge of everything, just call me. I'd be happy to cover your event for you.
